About Maine DJ Service

Maine DJ Service is owned and operated by Damon & Tia Rodzen. We started Maine DJ Service in 2003 and have performed at every event as a team. We never sub-contract, so you know when you hire Maine DJ Service to perform at your event you will be guaranteed top-notch service from us, Damon & Tia! We are the only ones you will speak with when you call, email or use our easy online chat!

Maine DJ Service uses only professional grade equipment. We are proud to be one of only a few DJ's in the state of Maine to offer to our customers the latest sound technology from Bose, the L1 bose system.

Consistent sound levels
Because of its shape, the L1 system projects sound waves that expand out and to the sides, but sends very little up and down. Sound spreads more evenly into the audience, and the sound level drops off much more slowly than from a conventional speaker.

For example, imagine a conventional speaker and an L1 system placed side by side, set to produce the same sound level at a distance of one meter. At 10 meters away, the conventional source already has 10 times less sound intensity than the L1 system.
